Our Commitment

At Bambú Vida, we believe fashion and home living should honor both people and planet. Our collections are designed with ecological sustainability at their core, using OEKO-TEX® eco-certified bamboo textiles produced through closed-loop systems — where water and solvents are captured, recycled, and kept out of the environment.

Bamboo is one of nature’s most regenerative plants: it grows rapidly without pesticides or herbicides, replenishes itself after harvest, and requires far less water than conventional crops. Every fiber we use is sustainably sourced and crafted into modern apparel and home goods that are gentle on the earth and enriching to daily life.

Our commitment extends beyond the materials. All of our products are created with fair trade labor practices — ensuring that no sweatshop labor is ever part of our process. We value the livelihood of every being involved, from the bamboo grove to the skilled hands of artisans, and ultimately, to you.

We choose only non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes and finish every order in plant-based, biodegradable packaging, so that sustainability doesn’t stop at the product — it carries through to the very moment it arrives at your door.

Bambú Vida is for everyone. Our collections are created with inclusivity in mind — for all ages, all bodies, and all backgrounds. Because we believe that through every step — from design to production to purchase — we are co-creating not just apparel and home goods, but a more balanced planet and a brighter future.

Susannah Tedesco
Founder, BAMBÚ VIDA

“I imagine a future where bamboo fashion and home goods are mainstream and accessible to all—where we transform global challenges into creative solutions by leading with vision, integrity, and a deep honoring of Mother Earth.”

Hello, I’m Susannah Tedesco, the founder and creative heart behind BAMBÚ VIDA. My journey brings together a love of art and design with a lifelong passion for ecological sustainability.

As a mother, artist, and advocate for the earth, I believe that the choices we make every day—especially the clothes we wear—can create profound positive change. After seeing firsthand the contamination, waste, and pollution of the fast fashion industry, I became determined to help turn things around.

Bamboo inspires me because it is an extraordinary renewable resource—fast-growing, resilient, and endlessly versatile. From building materials to everyday household items, it has countless uses. And when transformed into fabric, its fibers create textiles that are soft, breathable, and incredibly durable. Through BAMBÚ VIDA, I want bamboo clothing to become mainstream—accessible to all—so that sustainable fashion isn’t a luxury, but a way of life that benefits people and the planet.

My vision is to guide this business with creativity, integrity, and heart, while encouraging women to step forward as leaders in shaping a better future. I am especially excited to welcome other women onto the BAMBÚ VIDA team as we grow—collaborating to bring our startup concepts into full production and turning vision into reality.

And most of all, I want to show my daughter that the challenges we face globally can be transformed into creative solutions—when we use our voices, our vision, and our compassion to build a world that truly honors Mother Earth.

Thank you for supporting sustainable fashion and eco-friendly living.
